Say 1 caret would cost 10k? 20k?

1 carat would be more than 10k definitely, with average specs.
Note that carat isn't everything. For me, most important aspect is the cut and colour. Must be very sparkly and colourless (D or E)! I don't want a huge diamond that looks yellowish or end up like a faux diamond or crystal
Better for you to head down personally to check it out

Oh ok sure. Love & co considered higher end or average compared to lee hwa soo kee etc?

I feel that love&co is just average. I have friends owning lee hwa, love&co both colours wear off after a year.
Higher end should be tiffany, bvlgari , cartier ~

Yeah I think love & co is average or slightly below too..
Btw I just realised ur topic header stated heart-shape diamond. Heart shape diamonds are cheaper than the usual round or cushion shape. I was talking about round diamonds earlier on.
1 carat of heart shape diamond may not need $10k.. But it's better still for you to check out personally.
