Looking for reasonable wedding dress...help!

I am looking for a wedding gown for less than $500. Every shop I have been to so far have been so costly. (ie. $1000+) I am having a very simple wedding and want a dress that I can wear again. I am avoiding a pure white dress as I am not traditional. I am more of a garden style bride and want an empire waist dress or greek style dress. Can you suggest some shops in my price range. Thanks!
