I’m holding my ROM this September. It is a simple setting that involves both families. My customary will be held in November next year.
Greatly appreciate if some kind souls would advise me in these areas:

1. ROM MakeUp/ Photography Services.
 What is the normal rate for make up services?
 Should I make my way to the Make up artiste or will the make up artiste come over to my place?
 Does most bride-to-be do a mock up of hairstyle/ make up before the actual day?
 Any contacts?

2. ROM Photography Services.
 What is the normal rate for a 2-3hour Photography Services?
 Any Recommendations?

3. Customary Wedding Dinner.
 How much (%) do I have to pay when making a hotel reservation?
 Do I need to call in advance to make an appointment or I can just walk in?

Have you taken up any bridal package? Usually it will include ROM package (gowns and makeup).

ROM MakeUp
- Make up probably $200?
- Usually they are willing to travel to your place if cab fare are subsidized.

Photography
- Depends on your budget and preference. I would say $188 - $1100. But due to my budget, I managed to find some between $300 - $500 by compromising a bit in my preference.

Customary
- At least 20 - 30%

I will be having my ROM soon so done a bit of research on it.

1. ROM MakeUp/ Photography Services.

ROM makeup is about $200 for the average ones, with one hairdo. They will come over to your place. You can opt for a trail at about $50-80.


2. ROM Photography Services.
 What is the normal rate for a 2-3hour Photography Services? $500 for registered companies for just the photography. Freelances are cheaper but there is a risk element in hiring them. You can add an album or other products at extra cost, normally they have a few types to choose from.

 Any Recommendations? Recommend you mine. A few other brides in this forum find them good. Try Hendra R. Photography. You can google them or search in Facebook. but if you really like a PG and their prices is above yours, agree with Elaine, maybe less pics?

3. Customary Wedding Dinner.
 How much (%) do I have to pay when making a hotel reservation? You can just reserve first if you like them. this gives you some time to go put together other things, eg find ur PG/VG/MUA etc
