07Jan btb here :) finally booked wedding lunch with Hilton this afternoon at their wedding showcase. Really impressed by their president suite!

I think it depends on which you're gonna do your pre-wedding shoot? I'm selecting my pre-wedding gowns 1-2 months before my shoot and for actual day gowns, it's similar too. But mine is from bridal.

Actually your perks very good le! Got points system can redeem for stay during your honeymoon! I enquired with Hilton before last July but the package wasn't this good. No point system and upgrade to president suite etc. Anyway 7 Jan BTB here too! :)

Oh? That means the points system just implemented.. Hmmm the president suite was really a surprise to us. When me and my bf was having private discussion, the coordinator pop up told us we can enjoy free upgrade if able to book by end of that day. Seems like many couples hold on 07Jan. Where is your venue? :)

I happened to click into this thread. I just signed with Hilton but they didn't offer me free upgrade to president bridal suite :( able to share with me how many tables were you intending to hold? Is it grace or june who attended to you if you don't mind me asking?

I chose Grand Copthrone Waterfront Hotel :) Fell in love with their Grand Ballroom and solemnization promenade :D

Yes! And the theme is so beautiful. But our number of tables cannot hit their min requirement :( have you start to find soleminzer?

Solemnizer not yet! I'm gonna start finding 6-9 months before cos I heard most of them don't take booking so early!

Regarding: Photobooth 2 or 3 hours?

Hello ladies, trying my luck on this as I can't seem to write a new topic. My wedding is in January 2017 and am planning to get a photobooth.

It is gonna be a wedding lunch, so was gonna ask if a 2 or 3 hours Photobooth is recommended? Most vendors say 2 hours, say from 12-2pm.. But not sure if that's enough. Am gonna have about 20 tables.

Let me know your suggestion.? Thanks!

I have 30 tables and my photobooth is 2 hrs! As long as the hours quoted to you is excluding set up and tear down, 2 hrs is sufficient. Cos usually photobooth is only for reception when guests are waiting for the banquet to start!

Our parents have met twice this year to discuss what traditional customs that they want to keep or trash.
Also, I've started sourcing for the 4 Dian Jin and comparing the various designs avail. Gold price is slowly creeping up! It was $55/g end of dec but now $61.50/g... Better start now so you don't pay the extra!

wah that's very fast! typically does the female side state their request at the parents meeting (like number of tables) or wait for the male side to offer?

Oooh which church! I'm a Jan 7 bride too, considered packge with z wedding but was sold at rico.

Sorry don't check this forum often!
For my case my parents are the kiasu ones who can't wait to marry me off so they were the ones initiating the talk. It depends on the dynamic of the families I guess. The couple can start the discussion over dinner and let the parents continue :)
