How early in advance to book banquet?

Hi, does anyone know how early in advance I have to book a wedding banquet at a hotel? Heard that at some places it's 1.5 years.. That's way too early!

Hi Superhero. There's no hard and fast rule as the hotels give you the date on a first pay first serve basis. But I would say that you should act fast if there's a place that you MUST get married at.... But if you are OK with whereever and no preferences on auspicious dates, I'm quite sure you will find somewhere to hold the dinner.

I have already booked mine for Dec 2012....

eh fren... i have also just booked mine for Dec 2012..

All the saturdays for Dec 2012 are already taken up! i had no choice but to go for a Sunday..

aiming dec 2012 AD and some restaurants have more available space.

Novotel ballrooms sat and sun for these 2 months are fully booked.
