Hotel Dinner Banquet for 15 tables - Mandarin Orchard Imperial, Goodwood Park Tudor ...

Hi all!

I am shortlisting for small hotel wedding venues for about 15 tables.
My budget is to keep it below $1500 nett per table. Main consideration is to have a nice ballroom.

I have come across the following popular choices:
- Mandarin Orchard Imperial Ballroom
- Goodwood Park Tudor Ballroom
- Mandarin Oriental Garden Suite Ballroom

May I know whether there are other places that I can consider?

Fullerton Hotel has nice small ballrooms. If to have wedding lunch there, you should be able to have it within your budget.

Which did you like best?
I have seen a few of those your listed, so far Novotel is my top choice though abit concerned about the walking distance from mrt :/

Hi Novotel is not bad considering their spacious recept area and the ballroom looks new. Price is very competitive as well during their wedding show.

The cons is like what u said. Distance from MRT. March in is quite short too i think. Another concern might be the carpark lots during Friday and Sat nights?

Mandarin orchard imperial ballroom looks nice but price is on the high side.

Yes agree. Although my wedding coordinator said there are over 700 carpark lots (not sure if I remembered wrongly) and is more than enough.

Though the entrance/exit of the carpark is quite narrow and 'windy'! So your guests need to have good driving skills.. Haha

We decided on Mandarin Orchard in the end. Haha yes i agree on the ramp up the carpark.

I rem that there is an cash rebate of 128 per table for that period. So where else are you shortlisting?

Mandarin Orchard Imperial Ballroom is a place where you either love it or hate it imo. I loved it!

Dinner is quite a good deal as you get 9 dishes instead of the usual 8. Their price is pretty competitive too and it is in a good location. Lovely cocktail area too, just becareful of the flight of steps at the ballroom

We are considering Sheraton topaz room too. Although haven't had a chance to view the ballroom yet

Hi, if you have the luxury of time, mayb you can wait for wedding show. Usually you don't need to wait till the actual wedding show. You can just make an appointment with the wedding coordinator before that. They will be more than willing to extend the perks to you. You can decide and return to commit during or before the wedding show.

Heard of Hotel Re but didn't have the chance to look at it as the location is out of the way and couldn't find hotel reviews.
