For those who need help planning an AD itinerary, we have posted a guide. More to come... ;)

Please feel free to ask any questions... Will be more than happy to help!

Hi, I'm wondering is it necessary for the brides to return home for tea crermony after the tea ceremony for the groom's side??

Hi! The guide is really useful. Thank you!

May i also know if an hour is enough for videography and photography with the bridal party (before going to the hotel)? Would be great if you can also share an itinerary for couples who will be doing a luncheon!

@randomgal
Traditionally, yes. The bride always have to return to the bride's house as a guest. Nonetheless, due to modernization, a lot of brides are not returning to their houses for tea. Tea ceremony are held just about anywhere. In churches, hotels, etc.

But do check with your parents as they might expect you to.

@J&A
1 hour should be enough but do check with the PG & VG. If they aren't doing anything special like my company's SDE it shd be fine.

I do recommend that you do your shoot earlier if possible as the lights are nicer and the weather not as hot.

I'll try to post another article on luncheon after I update the dinner portion. Thanks for you patience. :)

1. my current AD itinerary is that we will do the Tea ceremony for the bride side before heading out to the groom place for Tea ceremony. is this ok?
2. If Tea ceremony is done for both bride(after gatecrash and before groom place) and groom. all left is up to the couple and parents if they are ok if the bride not returning to the bride's house as a guest?

Thanks

@randomgal
1. If both side of the parents don't mind, I don't see why not.

2. Yes. This is really a good time saving method. But this is traditionally not correct and best to leave the decision to your parents. If they are agreeable, then you will be saving plenty of time for other stuff such as photography, etc.

Adding on to @donfp thread, Forest Productions wrote a follow up article to help brides plan their wedding itinerary: "4 Reasons Why You Should Have An Outdoor Wedding Photo Shoot On Your Actual Day Wedding".

The answers may shock you.
