Fullerton vs Mandarin Oriental

Hi all, my HTB and I are looking at Fullerton or Mandarin Oriental for our wedding in Nov 2012. Both hotels have same date, similar package prices, so that makes it tough to choose! Please give your comments/feedbacks of the 2 hotels, especially the bridal suite, service and cocktail reception. Thank you!

i went for the wedding showcase yesterday, i quite like the dream and love theme settings..

Hey goldlace, the price for fullerton is $1268++.
Yup i went for the showcase, and i liked the love theme too. I found the happiness theme was very pretty too.

ya.. i totally agree. actually all the theme are pretty.. hehe...! my SO like the outdoor cabana setting too.
wow. then the price for fullerton and oriental is so competitive ah. you tried the food alr? my SO is full of praises for food at oriental eh.

Nope havent tried the food yet haha. Only the bite-size tasters that they were serving during the showcase. The cod fish was good. Have you gone for their food tasting?

Hi all, I have liaised with Fullerton and Mandarin Oriental to find out more about their package but decided to hold it somewhere else due to cost concerns. But i have to say that Fullerton's service is indeed marvelous. Their emails are responsive and they are extremely friendly , accomodating and take the initiative to find out what are your concerns. The person i liaised with at Fullerton is Melissa Lin and I highly recommend anyone of you to speak to her if you want to find out more, or eventually seal the deal.
As for mandarin oriental, if cost and value mean to you, I say go for it. Service and food are known to be great as well. However, sales team's service can be a hit and miss. Bethany was rather impatient and unfriendly over the phone. However, Sheena was a much more pleasant person to speak to.
