four seasons or shangri la orchard for wedding lunch?

hi all, i'm having a hard time deciding btw these 2 venues for a wedding lunch...does anyone have any experience/review with either hotel? thank you!

Hi Skyrain,

Have you seen the locations during the afternoon? If you are taking the larger ballroom of four seasons, what I like about it is that you can get natural light coming in through the large windows along the side.

Hi Shavaine...thanks for that! yes I have viewed the ballroom and its lovely. the place definitely views cosier vs Shangri la. not too sure about the food/service of these 2 places though...

I think it is also important how many tables you require since Shang can take more tables. Location wise to be considered too.

I had my wedding recently at Four Seasons. Everyone loved the food - no complaints whatsoever. We were very particular during the food tasting though, and gave the chef a lot of feedback. That may have helped, as we found that the chef had incorporated our comments for the actual meal. I was very happy with the help and service of the whole team. I have also gotten feedback from the guests that they liked the fact that the food was portioned out onto plates for them, rather than a free for all type family styled meal. This is even though we did not ask for individual plating.

Sherlin is right though, it would depend on how many tables you are looking at.
