Hi girls,

Would you be able to recommend a florist who can do floral decorations for the reception itself? I would like to compare their prices with the hotel prices.

I'm thinking of covering the front part of the stage with flowers (so that you cant see the cloth that covers it), flowers on the stage itself, bigger flower arrangements on each table and flowers on table tops on the foyer. Also bridal bouquets.

i used sing see soon for my recent church wedding - amazing service, top quality flowers, no baby's breathe filler flowers (unless you want) and they know their blooms can contact grace @ [email protected].

I am getting married on 25th June this year and would like to do a simple decoration with flowers for my venue. It is going to be a small venue for 80 pax luncheon. I was quoted min of $2,500 from a vendor for weekend. It's so expensive aih*, is this normal? Is there any vendor that's cheaper?

If you know more or less what you want, perhaps can consider those Neighbourhood florists? I'm also looking around for mine too. I was told to be prepared to pay mid $1000+ for floral arrangements.

Yea mine is around that price as well. I don't even have a lot of flowers haha. It also depends on the type of flowers and whether they are easy to source for. If you choose flowers that are only available in the US then obviously you're going to be paying more for them.

I am having a simple ROM at Starbucks and my florist is doing almost everything for $287.
It comes with bridal bouquet, 2 bridesmaids bouquet, 10 buttoniere, table arrangement, 22 stalks of hydrangea for the aisle.





These are the pics I sent her for the inspiration. I haven't received the flowers yet as I am getting married in Nov however looking at the ones she has done before I think it will turn out fine!

If you went with baby's breathe it could be cheaper

The rest I DIY, white sash to tie chairs can be bought quite easily and cheap at Chinatown.

Rental of chairs I did not need since its at Starbucks but try going online to search I think you can get a Tiffany chair at about 4-6 per chair.

Let me know if ya need help and I'll point ya the direction.

I asked for hydrangea and roses.
The bridesmaids bouquet is fully baby's breathe though.
As my Budget was really low, she is intending to pack my aisle hydrangeas with some greens.

Just to let everyone know. The florist just cancelled out on me 2 Mths before the wedding. To be fair, I did ask for a lot of things under a very small budget but she didn't reject and then just landed a bomb. I would say possible to get from her but a little unreliable.

Oh the florist who canceled is "mumsworkshop" on carousell. I tried to renegotiate with her but she refused. On hindsight, would think that is better since I wouldn't be able to trust her to deliver.

Dear All,

I just had my wedding 27th Nov.

And I did engaged a lady who done my floral decor for my Solemnisation area and stairs way.
And I ordered these from her :

6 medium balls for the staircase rungs
10 small balls for chairs
5 Bridesmaid bouquet
5 corsage
1 Car decor according to your bouquet (main+ 4 doors)
2 floral crowns

Given tat she is new in this industry but her passion make the outcome look beautiful! Especially the car Decor which I don't not Wan any sash or ribbon on it. My hubby & I are both very happy with the outcome of the floral decor. Pic of the actual day is not ready yet but u can trust me she is one of the reasonable price I found n passionate lady I found. Thank god!

It depends on the assigned florist though.. my venue is PR Pickering and the assigned florist is Star Florist - they charge around $300 for change of colour of flowers. and additional flowers range from $100 to over $700 dpending on what you want.
