updates as promised: we had our tea ceremony & ROM there before the dinner, at the private dining rm. There was staff to assist in pouring the tea. However 1 drawback is they only have normal chinese tea, not red date tea which is regrettable, cos Chinese couples will always prefer something sweet. We had to bring our own sweet tea there. It's a nice place for daytime ROM as we get a good view & nice natural light for photography. However our JP arrived at the ROM room waaay too early & the banquet staff did not find it necessary to inform anybody thus my siblings who were waiting for him elsewhere thought that he lost his way. Plus the JP was kinda displeased... Dinner: it was very weird that when we get ready to march-in, the dining room doors were OPEN not closed. Thus the guests who sat near the doors can see us already! No element of surprise... Our guests feedback to us was that that the service was ok. Some lapses here & there which we had already reminded the staff beforehand to take note, but i guess i cannot expect perfection.
