Bad experiences with them, paying 5.5k for consultation fees and we realize the quotations we get for photographers, wines, liquor, wedding invitation cards, wedding cake and savory, wedding cars, bands, emcee, all are being mark up more than 40% than original quote. Things start to review when my friend is actually a ex singer with the band being quote to me when the actual quotation is SGD1500 become 2.4k, invitation card from SGD1.20 become SGD7.00. At the end, with the helps of fellow friends, I manage to source for better price.

Very inefficient team when I always have to email and call them to follow up quotations that they need to give me instead of they should have a 'to do list' for the bride and groom and advice me of what they are doing.

I cannot believe that only make up and hairdo can cost me SGD1000 where I can find a good make up artist by paying SGD688. Instead of making me feel free and easy, they have been putting more stress for everything. I'm glad I terminated their service but they refuse to refund me any penny, none of the quotations are being accepted because of the ridiculous pricing and said that their 2 months works are worth SGD5.5k. Never in my life I feel so miserable, and now thanks to WeddingAct who make my once in a life time experience an awful beginning.

However, now that I manage to get all the contact and deals myself, I really feel good about it. If there are any brides out there who need helps on contacts for vendors, feel free to drop me an email. I will be more than happy to share.

By engaging a professional wedding planner, they are as good as an event company, just that the projects both handles are different - corporate and consumers.

Usually its a norm that they will do a mark up from 20% to 100% or even more, depending on the type services, advices and props required. If you go direct to vendors, definitely the cost will be much cheaper as compared.

Wedding planners should actually solve your problems and not adding stress to your preparations. For W.Acts... I can't comment much on their efficiency as I have nv engage their services b4... but I will NEVER will coz having big doubts in their credibility n integrity.

I once assisted them to pitch for a project, attended their meetings with clients and done all the ground works, preparations and burning midnite oils to get the presentation stuff ready. But once completed, they refused to pay me a single cents, quoting that they do not have the budget as they only managed to get a small slice of pie of the project as their clients do not have huge project. Well, to me... once you engaged someone to do a job, whether or not the deal is clinched you still have to pay up since you had received all the deliveries. No one works for free. Unless we all agreed its by profit share but even if it is, where is my share?

I had even made further reduction out of goodwill, just to justify my time spent, from a 4digit amount, I only requested a $500 from them to cover my expenses. Can you imagine, its just a $500 bucks and we were playing cats and mice game?

They agreed to pay that $500 but had been very pushy making the payments... and later on I gave up pursuing after the boss gave excuses like times were bad and they had to downsize their team and property to move to a smaller office. I felt they are just another LOSER company for such sense.

Their website illustrated themselves with good portfolios, and I ever had consider them to be our planner when my marriage bells rang. But after such episode with them, it just gave me lots of qns if they are a trustworthy company. If they can treat their vendors this manner, I don't think they will be any good to their clients.

Do not engage Wedding diary lily Liu! Totally money minded . I requested flowers to be thrown upon marching out and ahe forgot , saying there were to many flowers! Yet she charged me $50 for them. Why have adiscussion about how to let the guests know when to throw them and hve them placed at the aisle . The whole packet was left on the table . She forgot yet refused to admit. Then she displaed the one photo I told her not to. After carefully going through each photo ad have her assistant write it down. Blatant mistake . After the wedding she didn't even say goodbye just sneaked off . No apology no email . Nothing . Totally bad service . Very unpleasant experience . Also was not even able to choose my own flowers. Do not engage wedding diary for yor wedding.
