Hi. Anyone did their own montage?
I'm doing lunch banquet and photographer says he can't produce the morning's gate crash montage in time for the 2nd march in. Can anyone share with me any good and fast and idiot prove software that I can ask friend to help me?

The morning gate crash is purely just photos and not videos ya? Either way, if you have a Windows-based computer, the Movie Maker programme is already readily installed and has a very easy interface to use... I didn't do my own morning montage but I did DIY my childhood montage and prewedding photoshoot montage using that programme - you can view these in my YouTube channel (link in my signature) along with other DIY montages like my morning thank you speech, banquet dinner highlights and honeymoon montage videos... But trust me, it's gonna be a busy day for you on your AD so the montage should be left to one of your helpers to help you compile it - you won't have that kind of luxury of time to do it yourself on your AD... All the best!

Ps. You may also want to check with your photographer if your helper can have a copy of the photos there and then on the AD before the lunch. Your photographer may have taken heaps of photos (your helper needs time to pick out the good ones to be shown) and some may even want to process the photos (colour and lighting) before they are willing to release the photos to you. Depending on your photography package that you signed on to, the contract may also stipulate that you can only get your photos much later after the AD or that not all photos will be returned to you (i.e. the photographer will only release to you a selection of photos) although some photographers do release every single photo taken including the not-so-good shots...
