Divorce

Long time never post as i am busying with my school exam. Suddenly i have thought of a few question concern when a couple divorce.

1) Can a man claim alimony from the woman if the woman is earning higher than the man?

2) If the house the couple lived in is not being bought during the marriage? I mean the guy bought the house and has been solely doing the contribution b4 he got married and both moved in to live together in the house after that, what happened to the house when they divorced? Can the woman request to have a share for the house?

3) Is it a compulsory the woman will get to share whatever the guy had after divorced? Then how about the car, motorbike or even the "old $ notes"(collectible item) they guy had? Will they be shared too?

4) Is it true that the guy cannot claim anything from the woman? Like that not fair leh.

Thanks

This is a really good question and only a lawyer can let you know the exact things involved. Though it's quite strange that a guy cannot claim anything from the woman even if the woman is on the wrong end and is responsible for divorce.

Have you ever heard about the Men's Chapter?
