Divorce by mutual consent - Party at fault

I understand that in Singapore, even if its divorce by mutual consent it's a fault divorce.

a) What are the implications of being the party at fault (i.e., the defendant) in such a divorce application? Are there a future implications of being the party at fault?

b )Is this (party at fault) something which should be avoided?

c) Since it's a fault divorce, how does the defendant highlight his case/facts. It's not a question of fighting the divorce, but ensuring that facts from both sides are properly represented.

I think you may need to direct your questions to a divorce lawyer. Most here are layman and mostly concern of our well being coming out of a divorce rather than the legal and social implications .

There's no such thing as fault divorce. Divorce is divorce. Both are at fault. Not sure what you are driving at. Basically, one would be the plaintiff, one would be the defendant. If mutual consent is involved, women would take half your asset. That's all.
