NTUC denticare

I will never go back to them. I did my cleanup and scale and clean at the orchard branch. Some chinese guy with australian accent and he did such a bad job (my teeth still felt dirty) and the bill was abt $90ish!! NTUC name does not mean "Fair price" lah ..

I highly recommend my dentist from De pacific. Very gentle and Attentive. Have been going to him since 2 years ago.

Just did a RCT last fri. Very
good experience for me. Hard to believe, but I experience practically
no pain except for once for about 0.5sec when he was clearing the
pulp. But he notice immediately and ask if I was experiencing pain. I
dun even feel the injections he gave, maybe its because of the numbing
gel he applied on the injection site or maybe its because he inject
real slowly (about 2 min for each jab).

Hi,

Is dental trendz shop located inside Jurong Point shopping centre or outside? Is Dr Liew good in making dentures? I am looking for a dentist who is skillful in making dentures as my mum's teeth is very small. Thanks for recommending.

I wouldn't recommend De Pacific dental, went there after reading online reviews & though I agree that Dr. Chua is gentle, I find that I don't feel comfortable talking to him at all, like he had to talk really carefully (feels like a wall being built up between doctor & patient)& in my opinon, after I communicated to him what I had in mind for my dental treatment (not just polishing & cleaning), he recommended invisalign, it is not only costly ($6K - $7K), he is also not a certified orthodontist, mind you. To be fair to Dr. Chua, I didn't think he was hardselling me the invisalign treatment, but it still feels like subconcious pyscho.. :-\

On the other hand, I totally would go for Dr Chan from NTUC Denticare (TPY). I didn't particular research for Dr. Chan, he was recommended to me by my previous Orthodontist, Dr Boey, who happened to be working in the same dental clinic with Dr. Chan. In my opinon, both docs are professional, explaining & making sure that I understood the treatment that I will be receiving before proceeding. I told them what kind of dental treatment I'm looking for - no hardselling, no subconscious pycho - just very detailed explaination to the results/consequences if I were to proceed with the treament. Thanks to both Dr Boey & Dr Chan!

Personally, I feel that I can connect with dr chua quite well.

But I do agree that its would be better to go to an orthodontist for orthodontic treatment. I went to NTUC Denticare for my braces years ago as well, but stop visiting NTUC denticare after a bad filling done by a Dentist there which subsequently leads to pulp infection thus my RCT mentioned above.

Dr Justin Saga of GPA Dental is my favourite dentist of all time. Very nice and friendly guy. He's very professional and experienced. He did my cleaning and it was really good and thorough. I didn't feel any pain.
My previous dentist that I saw, when she did the cleaning I could feel the pain so I didn't enjoy the process. I highly recommend go see Dr Saga. Saw his personal website and he used to work in NZ for over 10 years. You can contact him on his website for any questions. He replies them personally.
