Conrad vs Oriental

Any thoughts which is a better hotel for wedding lunch?
I feel that Oriental is really nice and exclusive but the package is on the high side. The coordinator is really good too! Conrad's ballroom gorgeous and friends' perception of the hotel seems better than oriental.
Quite torn. Any advise is appreciated!

im an oriental 2011 btb
i lk conrad too - e ballroom is awesome!
but upon receivin the price list for 2011 -> after comparation.. there is not muc differences..
n the usage of their technical equip. are seperately charged..

i strongly reco oriental..! =)

alot of ppl misunderstood oriental as marina mandarin.. its a totalli diff standard altogether.. maybe tts y ur frens feel conrad is more supreme

I am planning for wedding lunch in mid 2011, what abt u? I really like everything abt O except I find the shape of the ballroom not ideal... Are u planning a long march in or L march in? I prefer a long march in but afraid the guest at the opp end of the ballroom may not be able to see us on stage due to the angle.

hey.. i'm choosing between the 2 as well..
Oriental is good with their themes, very dreamy and fairy tale like.. whereas conrad gives a very elegant feel.. love the staircase or conrad which leads right to the one and only ballroom, its exclusive and grand..

I went for Oriental showcase, the food is nice! the new themes are awesome!
Cant decide also!

Foodwise, I think Mandarin Oriental is better though Conrad is good too.

Read the fine prints. Actually conrad is cheaper, table of 12 and not table of 10. If you have fat guests then maybe don't go for conrad. The table size is the same for conrad and oriental

the staircase only looks good u'll not use it
