Confused pls help me!!

Im planning to ROM on 2015 and also wedding dinner on the same day. However, i do not have my own room and have been slping with my parent since young. My flat is coming on 2016 dec. But my dad said wait till flat reno finish then hold wedding dinner. But to me, i like to do it on the same day which i find it more meaningful. But he said if i dont have my own room, people come will feel funny why dont have the bedroom decoration. Is it necessary to have a room for the wedding day itself? I really wish to hold the rom and actual wedding together on the same day and my fiancee is cool with staying apart 1st and having both at the same day. Please advise. Any similar cases?

What about those brides who stayed in the same room as their siblings? And who set the rule that must have what bedroom decoration?
You are not alone. When my sister married, she was sharing the room with me and we did not deco the room too. We just tidied up the room so that when the groom comes to pick the bride, it is not unsightly haha.

Hi, if you are throwing yr ROM n dinner in the hotel likely u will get a free night stay in the hotel.
You may try to ask for another night free. Then use the hotel room for your actual day marriage.

Im a male btw. So its ok not to have a room for decoration? But if i use hotel as my actual day, the tea ceremony also in the hotel?

how abt asking ur parents to 'loan' the room for 'show' only?

Of course, you can invite yr relatives to come early before yr wedding dinner/ lunch and conduct the tea ceremony.
