Common to have ROM after wedding lunch?

Anyone has seen friends/relatives doing their ROM after their wedding lunch? It's very rush in the morning therefore was thinking of doing it after the wedding lunch.

Wedding lunch or dinner is just a customary process. I have friends that had wedding dinner first & followed by ROM. It's up to you to whether you want to have wedding lunch or dinner before ROM. There is NO law in singapore that stated you HAVE TO ROM first then follow by the wedding lunch or dinner..

I think the ROM link above makes it clear that it is not proper to do it after the traditional/religious ceremony.

You can have the solemnisation after the first march in and just before the wedding lunch - that's what I'm doing. Just choose a solemniser that is chop-chop, the whole thing only takes about 15 mins and your guests, especially closer ones, can witness the ceremony which is quite meaningful. (and also convenient for them as they don't have to come a couple of hours early for it if you hold it earlier in the morning.)

Thanks all for advices!! I think having the ROM after 1st march in sounds Gd too! As long as I got enough time in the morning that's Gd! :)
