Childhood/wedding photo montage

Hope brides here can answer my queries for this..

Im diy-ing my own childhood montage. For the song, can i use any songs I like or do I have to follow the songs provided by the hotel as they have licence for it.

And what if its wedding photo montage that is provided by bridal shop? I will have to give them 2 songs, so i dunnoe shld i give the songs i wan or the songs listed by hotel. As they are bridal shop fr JB, so oso dunnoe have copyright licence not.

Im so lost on this. Hope somebody can enlighten me.

Hi there, a rule of thumb is the songs that we are using have to be "bought" and not "downloaded". Some hotels are anal and may request for certificate of purchase but most assume that we have purchased these songs. There is no list of songs that you need to adhere to, as long as they are lawfully purchased i.e. you have the original cds.

There are royalty free websites nowadays that allow you to use the music. You might not get the exact one you want but it's free and there are good options.
