Childhood/wedding photo montage songs

Hi

Hope brides here can answer my queries for this..

Im diy-ing my own childhood montage. For the song, can i use any songs I like or do I have to follow the songs provided by the hotel as they have licence for it.

And what if its wedding photo montage that is provided by bridal shop? I will have to give them 2 songs, so i dunnoe shld i give the songs i wan or the songs listed by hotel. As they are bridal shop fr JB, so oso dunnoe have copyright licence not.

Im so lost on this. Hope somebody can enlighten me.

Sorry this may sound a bit silly.
Does that mean that if we use the song list provided by hotel as he background music of the montage (i.e. song play from the montage and not from the hotel CD) , i do not have to pay copyright fees?

Chk wif my hotel.. cant even use their song list in montage.. their licence oni valid for playing in the banquet.. embeding songs to montage is another licence that we have to get.. oni solution is i play the montage in mute n the songs from original cds..
