chin leng, i just saw that mirc has become a shareware... maybe registration will be required for new users who download... does this mean next time we cannot use it oredi??

Hi JenJen,

I've just visited www.mirc.com and noticed that it has become a shareware and a US$20 registration fee is required to continue using it after the 30-days evaluation period. However, I think this only applies to new downloads and future upgrades. If you are already using the earlier versions, I think it is not affected.

If you do not have mIRC, you can still join the chatroom by connecting through our chat link above. However, you'll need to download Java from here first if you are using Windows XP and 2000 (I think).
