doLL u said every ten marriage got 3 divorce. I think the divorce rate is going higher and sooner or later it'll be like every 10 there's 5.
The government have made it to the way that singaporean is hard to get together. meaning the husband and wife is hard to be together as most of the time they are working for survival.
the only time they are together is when they are sleeping. sometime or many, they don't even got a chance to sleep together.
so due to such. the female colleague who is single have more time with the husband then the wife. and vice versa. when "separated" or "together" for sometime, feeling is changed thus people look for better option.
u may know the girl from secondary, then poly, then when u r in army. she in poly. she find other guy. then when she didn't. and drag to working phase. she know new people, learned new things. and she's not her anymore. she's different, changed due to work/enviroment. it's time for her to change a life time partner.
marriage due to "father & mother" , "age" ,"wanna settle down fast", "Getting a Flat", "Just because I with her for too long"-- this when realized is not the real reason. most will regrets when married.
they found out that they don't "LOVE" each other actually. the husband found out a new colleague who is better. but alas he's married. he need a change. divorce is the only way.
the wife found out that the guy she'll be with for the rest of her life is not good enough. eg. no money, no hardworking, no longer the caring guy, regretted, thus finding fault with him everyday, resulting in divorce.
some woman even think divorce is better then living with her husband because of the maintenance. no need to work got money every month and can have new bfs.
this is life. people changed. most for the good of herself/himself. Due to work, people learned the "darkness" of this world. thus the heart is not as pure, the mind is thinking of just $$$$$$...
