BTO completion/possession date

Hi everyone, I'm just wondering how advance will HDB inform you should the completion/possession e.g. collection of keys be ready in earlier than expected?
This is so that I can pre-empt my bf and I...
Judging from my bto progress, it is currently undergoing painting already when the BTO completion date is expected to be 1Q 2016...Trying to see if it will fall under 2Q , 3Q or 4Q of 2015, so that I can make the necessary arrangements...
For now, we cant decide whether to have ROM and AD separately or together...

Not sure abt others, but in my experience, 1Q 2016 means 1Q 2016. Not any earlier than that.

Oh I thought most BTOs complete earlier than the expected date. I'm also judging based on the progress of my BTO, that's why.

Lol mine didn't. But gd luck with yours though! Perhaps u will be lucky. My guess is that even if it's early, it won't be by much.

I had my rom before ad. But i will suggest you to do both at one go. Unless your rom is pure sigining of paper and no family buffet or meals after.

I spent quite abit on family reception and gowns. ☺
