My boyfriend is known for being really nice. I used to think it's a virtue but sometimes I cannot help by feeling pissed.
1. Unfortunately, he doesn't have a nice group of friends. His best bro always put aeroplane on him, and yet my bf always push away all his appointments for him. Whenever I get pissed with that bro of his for being such an ass, he will get angry with me (FYI, his best bro is my good friend too)
2. He everything also 'nvm, forget it'. An example is when we go out, people cut into my queue or push me without apologising. I am the kind who gets irritated by such rude behaviour but my bf will be just nvm let him/her be. It makes me even more irritated!
3. Some stranger randomly offered him food saying it's from a party. He gladly accepted it and really ate the entire plate of food. I appreciate the person's kind gesture but how can you be sure that the food is safe? He don't even have any slight suspicion or whatsoever. But all in his mind was, somebody was being nice and offered him food, why not? To me, I can never be entirely sure that the food is safe especially when it's from a total stranger I've never seen before?? What kind of example will I set for my kids in future? If I were him I will either politely reject or accept and not eat?
Am I overreacting? I really feel that we are not on the same line sometimes and it gets on my nerves sometimes that he's being overly nice to every single person in the world
