@ Roundisashape - Im also very keen to know more abt how Botox can slim the jawline. Checked out some aesthetic clinics and the price ranges from $500-$1000 depending on the units they use on each individual face
Botox Facial Slimming
Many Asians have large masseter muscles. These are the muscles at the back of the jaw that allow us to bite. The enlargement of these muscles, known as masseter hypertrophy, can make a face broad and square in shape.
Botox face slimming is performed by the injection of Botox into these muscles. This causes them to weaken and shrink. When they reduce in size, the face will naturally look slimmer.
These injections are relatively painless. There is a small risk of pin point bruising, but this is rare and disappears after about a week. The muscles then shrink over the next 3-4 weeks.
The first signs of the treatment working may not be visible. Instead, you may feel an aching when you chew on hard foods, such as a tough piece of steak. The muscle, now smaller, becomes tired more easily. At standard Botox doses, this sensation can last a few weeks before the muscles adjust and everything goes back to normal fuctionally.
About a month after the injections, the final resuts are seen.
As with all Botox treatments, the results are temporary and the muscles will become stronger with time. The treatment has to be repeated to maintain the results long-term.
An additional benefit is that peope who feel stress in their jaw muscles will find relief as the tension dissipates.
Not all faces will slim down after Botox injections. Many have excess fat in the lower cheek area, especially on either side of the mouth. We treat this region with radiofrequency +/- ultrasonic lipolysis for fat melting.

I tried Botox & experienced side effect of uneven aka crooked smile. Horrible man. Paid $700 only to get uglier plus face felt stiff , really uncomfortable.
If you are looking for an effective, SAFE way to slim & contour your face, go for RF treatment... yes, per treatment is costly as well, but if you get your own machine to DIY, it will be so much cheaper. Keen in wholesale RF machine, pls visit:

botox is temporary..seriously, i'd like to know if a person do botox regularly, will there be any side-effects. The thought abt 'freezing' the muscles so many times....???...
we are born with the face shape that we have, it's something we can't control..but if a person is brave enuf, go see a maxilofacial surgeon..and discuss abt what kind of face shape u want...can be done...needs a lot of guts and $$..

Some people just have rounder faces, and it has nothing to do with how big or small you are, it's just YOU! Think of Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez: Beautiful think girls, who are a bit cheeky. It's all just how you were made a lot of the time. Don't stress. If you're working out and eating healthy, you have nothing to worry about.
