beer & wine consumption for lunch banquet

It is true that ppl consume less alcohol if It's a lunch banquet?
How many barrels and bottles needed for a 150pax lunch?

Normally lunch, they will drink lesser.

30L of beer is roughly equivalent to 80 glasses.

Bottles will be 1 per table provided within the banquet package. I heard that if there are unopened wine, they will place in the bridal suite for you to bring home.

I'm thinking not to order beer for lunch, not sure will guests complain or not, LOL.

One bottle serve 5 glasses. So if everyone drinks It's 2 bottles per table.

Commonly the beer serve are Tiger right because Tiger come in barrel of 20L and 30L. Sheraton is serving Carlsberg in barrel of 22.7L

Not many youngsters will drink Tiger, only older generation (based on my own assumption). I think youngster will prefer red or white wine.

Consumed less than a barrel of beer
10 bottles red wine

Usually it depends on whether the lunch banquet is held on a weekday or weekend.
Wines consumption for wedding which falls on Fridays/Saturdays for a table of 10 persons is around 1.5-1.8 bottle per table .
0.8 - 1 bottle of wine for weddings held on weekdays/sundays.
