Does anyone have any recommendation on where I can learn to make wedding cupcake at not too expensive fee?

I already have some basic bakery skill to bake simple cake at home. But just not too sure how to make the cupcake frosting and decoration.

i'm a novice but i am also doing my own wedding cupcakes...using buttercream icing..not as hard as royal icing but have tested it...can still tahan a few hours

Hi everyone..

Maybe you can called Gina at Kitchen Capers.. You can join the class and learn together with another member to make a cupcake or decoration.. I'll PM you for details and hope it help you..

Hiya,

I am also very interested in learning baking... especially cupcakes... But does any of you know if a conventional microwave can bake cupcakes? Cos I dun wanna go through all the courses then realise i can't practice at home... hee...

Thanks Ene & Meredith for your recommendations!

I wouldn't usually profess the virtues of a packet mix, but I love the woollies home-brand vanilla one, and get this it's only 65c! I make it often with a simple lemon buttercream icing, SO cheap and really yummy. I would never have thought to try it but there were so many recs for it in the food/entertaining forum on here I gave it a shot.
I made it as cupcakes for a friends party and everyone absolutely raved about them (and that was just with a simple vanilla buttercream icing), some said they were the best cupcakes they'd ever had! (Not sure how much they get out LOL)

Definitely try it out if you're thinking of going down this road!
