I went to Pin* at the Plaza Singapura branch coz location was really convenient. They got an experienced manicurist to do up my nails and the result was satisfactory. I signed up a $800 plus package with them. Services then went downhill as they assign trainees to me for my subsequent visits. Not only they snipped my flesh, they also took waste my time as they kept on removing the smudges and repainting my nails. Anyway no apologies were extended when they cut my toe and thumb but I developed a phobia going there. I was afraid of the sudden , unexpected painful sensation when they cut into my flesh. This happened in total 3 times.I took photos of my sore toe and thumb. I requested for refund and they told me the boss would call me. I wrote them an email and send them the picture of my wounded toe. Until now, no calls and no replies. I have about $500plus left unused in the package. They also DO NOT sterilised their equipment eventhough they claim they do. The manicurist who did my mani and pedi took the very same equipment and attended to another customer without cleaning her equipment. Yep, she used the VERY SAME scrapper that she used to scrap out my "toe jam" trapped in my big toe to scrap off the next customer's! I am so done with them. I called case and they requested for me to go down to present my case. Has anyone successfully gotten back their money in such cases? Please share with me. CASE told me that they would mediate on my behalf and if Pin* does not give me my money back, small court tribunal should be my next recourse. I would certainly go all the way. The hygiene is very poor and they do not clean their equipment. Can I call NEA to go down to make sure they adhere to standards? Or is it under another agency? Appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.
