Ananda Fair is on 6 August at Suntec Convention Hall. I will be going down to CTC in house Fair to book my honeymoon package. Actually we had already went down there to check it out and wanted to book on the spot. But the staff advised us to book during their in house fair as there will be ard $100/person discount plus lucky draw lor.

we plan either Dec or Jan. However, the weather is very cold around -2.2 in Dec
and -4.1 in Jan. Wonder is it really too cold to enjoy. Are you afraid of cold ?

Did you read Strais Times today under "Home section,page H7" "Directors battle for control of SA Tours" I guess no one dare to book with SA tours. Don't know whether they will wind up like Kenair which is also a big agency. I wonder anyone still dare to go and book at their travel fair on 21Aug?

dwoof, I was staying in Tianjin (which is near Beijing). So I don't really know what they have in beijing but I know the weather temperature is very cold during that time cos I stayed in Tianjin from mid Nov - Last Jan.
Not sure what countries to recommend leh.

oh yes,itz cold in Switzerland but nt in Paris...Paris has the same weather as Sg........r u gng to Mt Titlis? itz cold when i was there...even Interlarken n went to the waterfall oso very cold.....nice n beautiful sceneries too.....depends on hw long u stay......things r quite ex in both places.......i brought abt S$600 to Switz n S$400 to Paris....went to watch the Moulin ROuge which cost Euro115.....but its an unforgettable experience....nice show.....

i oso with Ananda, not sure hws is their tour package as this is my 1st time with them.. but during the fair, the one attended me is gd.. and i went to SA fair, in the end the price is the same as when i asked mths ago at the counter.. no diff unless u take China airline.. Mayb u can go to chan bros fair and compare lor.. I tink its abt the same i tink.. hehe..

Yes. Free n easy got its advantage n disadvantage.. hehe.. for the Mt Titlis is inside the package.. everything inclusive.. there isnt any optional. For effifel tower oso till 2nd level.. further up we got to pay.. hehe.. Mine is cheap is becos of the airline i took.. qatar.. if i was to take SQ will nd to top up $600! urs is traveling wif Finnair i think its much exp den mine bah.. Ananda actually provides 2 more breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner more.. and as for the meals Ananda actuall provides local specialty.. which i got comments frm other thread that Chan bros provides all chinese food.. depends on wat u looking for i tink.. happy comparing.. hehe..

wat i took in june was a 12daes trip which cover Switzeland, Paris n london....2daes in paris n 2daes in london while the rest is in Switzeland......nice pace....not very hectic...i kind of like it.......i paid abt 3.7k as it was during the June Hols....

Just a warning - I had originally booked my Europe tour (16D Europe Spotlight) with SA Tours during their last inhouse tour in March for a June departure. However, 4 weeks before departure (3 weeks before my AD, can you imagine the stress?!!), they called me to tell me that they can't make the group and had to cancel our booking.
We went down to SA that weekend to look at alternatives. But they didn't have any good ones to offer us (they had completely no Europe departures in July!). They even started recommending us tours that completely didn't suit our tastes. We were even willing to explore the Insight and Trafalgar packages, but we found that the salesperson had no product knowledge about these packages and even gave us wrong info about the pricing! It was really quite frustrating.
Luckily, the moment I got the news from SA, I enquired around and found that Chan Bros had a confirmed departure in July which we quickly grabbed when we couldn't settle anything at SA. It actually costs slightly more than the SA package but having gone on the trip, I think itinerary-wise, the Chan Bro one is more appealing as it is more balanced. Plus, the difference in price can be attributed to the Mount Titlis excursion.
So, moral is don't underestimate the value of booking a confirmed departure. Plus with the lawsuit going on, no matter what SA staff says, I'd rather not book with them till the case is over.
