I'm still looking at the prices from some hotels, prices seems to increase alot, if not the min table requirement is high. Headache....

Jo&jy, indeed the prices of the hotels have increased tremendously. I hope it will not increase again anytime soon ... have you shortlisted any hotels?

did anyone chk the latest tongshu if this is an auspicious date? this date was given by my FMIL which she enquired based on our zodiac only.

We have decided to hold it at NCQ, but havent put deposit yet :p

have all of u booked the necessary BS, PG yet? me havent start sourcing yet. but soon la. :-X
 
It seems that 21 nov 2009 is a popular date..anyone check the date? Is it an auspicious date? Btw I am planning my Solemnisation lunch at a Hotel function room, is it too early to book the place and book my BS? I scare that the designs of the gowns may change if I book the BS based on this year designs. Is it too early to take PS now as I also want the same BS to include the ROM gown/suit, photography and MUA in the package?
 
i think 21 nov is a good date, thus so many ppl choose this day.

and no, you are not early in booking your venue and BS. should start looking around for venue and compare prices. same goes for BS.

PS, usually couple takes 4 months earlier than their AD. i think BS will provide everything in their packages unless you are doing ala carte.
 
If I am taking OTR gown, do I choose the Indoor/outdoor OTR gownss and olemnisation gown when i sign for the package or when I take the PS which is 4months b4 Solemnisation? Will the OTR designs change by then?

the best is to talk to the BS. but from what i have gathered, BS usually stocks outdoor OTR gowns for PS, and indoor OTR gown for AD. If you are doing solemnisation and AD on different day, there are ROM gowns to choose.

OTR gowns design won't change but there are likely new designs to choose as time passes by, bcos OTR gowns are usually gowns brides MTM and after they worn it for their AD, the BS takes it and uses it as OTR gown.

Why don't you start visitng BS, then you will have a clearer picture since different BS has different packages?
 
Hi Sharlene, me holding my AD at Raffles hotel. But not dinner...just a simple buffet lunch. Haha..me KS, settled AD PG and VG liao.
