Qns 1 : For my case, only my mom give jie meis. I did not give them. Cos on AD gatecrashing time, the groom need to give open door ang pow irregardless how much , end of the day the money still go to the jiemeis. When we go over to groom's hse, his parents will also give jiemeis ang pows too.
Qns 2: Not sure what u are trying to ask..
I only know that my hubby did give my dad, mom, sister and grandma an ang pow when i about to step out of my hse. The meaning for this, i not very sure. But his mom said is for good luck purposes.
