Any1 can advise what's the 'ang pao' rate for wedding dinner these days?

Hi Link,

Check with you how much would you give for a sit down buffet wedding receiption say in Hort Park.

As for the rates now I think min $80. Cos it also depends on the venue eg. chinese restaurant or hotel, if hotel how many star hotel. If you compare Novotel and Hyatt sure you cannot give the same amount mah...

it depends on the individual. some couples (or the parents) want to have the wedding at a fanciful 5star hotel. but have they thought abt their poorer relations/frens?

recently a relative's (the bride) mother told another relative that ea table costs $2000. the 2nd relative said 'so? it's u who want to hold it there.'

n esp if its those ex-colleague/schoolmate who doesnt bother to meet up but suddenly invite the rest of us, we'll decline or just give $50 ea. hehe.
