Do you think a gal's 'value' depreciate as she grows older? Man prefers younger gals to be their gf/wife?

Is the saying true? A gal in her 20s, a basketball team of guys after her. A gal in her 30s, only hv 4 players on the tennis court including herself. Then a when the gal hits 40s, its a golf course...

why do u need a basketball?

Does that give u happiness???
What u need is really finding the one compatible mate to share your life with. This can happen in any part of your life. Even in very late part of your life.

Chances are, when u had a basketball of suiters, you were so spoilt and immature to handle a lifetime relationship yet. Of cos, there are exceptions but we grow with experiences in life. That naturally would take time.

Yeah. And Aston Kutcher likes golf? The thing about most gals is they lose their confidence from the "age" factor which is really what they are depreciating from.

Sunshine,
I always think that no matter what happen, we have to accept the reality and make the best out of the situation. Brooding over the situation doesn't make things better for ourselves.

If you lack self-confidence, try to doll yourself up more (improve looks), read up more (improve knowledge) etc to make yourself feel more confident.

C'mon, it's not about happiness but it sure gives your ego some boost to know that you are attractive to the opposite gender and get their attention.

its not just about feeling good. The idea that youth equates attraction. Maybe true of some guys but are those the guys one really need?

What's more important? To have alot of people seeing one as a sex symbol or something or for someone that really value and see you beyond and regardless the age. Physical appearances will change.

Yes, its nice to feel attractive but no, I don't see the real value is in the physical. There is a difference in the must have and nice to have. We enjoy our youth while we have them. But, its not all we are worth.

To the question : "Man prefers younger gals to be their gf/wife?" No, I just need and want my wife. This is the one I choose to grow old with. She will age with me. But that doesn't change how much I value her.

OK, I wasn't answering threadstarter's question.

Women or men, it's one thing having third parties to value or appreciate who you are but more importantly, you need to value who you are and what you contribute to life.

If you do not value yourself first, you won't be able to appreciate it when someone values you.

"If you do not value yourself first, you won't be able to appreciate it when someone values you."

very well said!
