Not sure if any women facing this problem as me..

I noticed that ever since me n hubby intercourse without condoms, I tend to get infection easily esp after he ejaculates in me. It is either rash or urinal tract infection. At first I thought it is Myself for being so sensitive... But when I come to think of it, this only happens after we stop using condoms.

I have checked online n found that men can be a yeast carrier n will pass on to their partners. I wonder how can I bring this issue to him n get him to the doc for checkup.

I will usually share all these with him. But since it had happened a few times n he started to complain bout my troublesome, I had went silence this time round afraid he find me problematic. I thought of just getting the same medication from pharmacy which my gynae recommended.. But felt I should visit my gynae for his professional advice this time.

We r also trying for a baby, n I had requested we both do a health check.. but he already seem reluctant for it. How can I bring this to him so he can have his check?

If you husband loves you why are you so bothered asking him? Communication problem is not a joke.

Anyway...

You are probably suffering from immune response problem... or your husband is not 'clean'. Not necessarily yeast... Basically, all men and women are carrier of yeast. It's caused by a bateria existing in everybody.

There is also one possibility, you are 'allegic' to your husband's secretion...

It's very hard to do a health check with normal proceedure if it's allegy; you'd need specialist.

This is matter of the heart forum, what I need to point out to you is... your marriage is not secured. What happen if he got HIV? You are a very interesting woman... LOL~

What if the problem is with another woman... You also will go silent? LOL~

silky cat, I don't have the problem of yeast infection fr hubby etc but we are also trying for a baby without much luck. I've suggested to my hubby to see a doctor together too. The good thing is my hubby's very supportive of seeing the doctor together. Have you discussed with your hubby about kids before? Is he excited about having kids or otherwise? This could be one reason he seems reluctant to go for a health check with you. Another reason could be the man's ego that made him afraid to see the doctor. Need to examine the underlying reasons for his reluctance as you communiate with him.

I'm not sure what you mean by your husband complaining that it's troublesome. If this happens to him, wouldn't he be concerned? And wouldn't he want to go to the root of the problem and solve it once and for all? There should be open communication between spouses.

Scope guy, thank you for ur advice. I don't know why I posted this in the first place, prob just wanna know how to go telling him this since it is a sensitive issue. Wanna be tactful..know what I mean. Anyway, had told him what happened this morning n will seek gynae advice after the appt.

Denise
Yup, we talked bout having babies.. He even acc me for initial checkup for scope n ultrasound on my system. All report seem ok so we both sat on it for further check.

Both me n hubby been open n we talked alot.. But I felt its men's ego stopping him for the check. I even suggested to visit TCM to condition our body as we both drinks n smoke. I can't do this alone coz that TCM recommended, only see couples who go together. I think its good to have even if its not for having kids, but for health conditioning. To him, its just not necessary to spend that kind of money.

I hope after this time round, after seeing the gynae, he will go for his check. Since he always wanted me to get a good gynae for myself.. I think he will do his part for me. Tho its minor but its just so frustrating when I gotta go thru it again n again.

We only started trying for bb now due to our work schedule.. Actually first attempt during ovulation n this happened. Feel so sucky. Really envy those who can get pregnant easily.. Lol

Faith,

Hmm.. It is him being nagging n 'suan' me for being problematic. He meant no harm as tats how we communicates.. Maybe its me, for gg thru this again n feel kinda 'sick' of telling him. It is like 'huh', 'what's new?' Its similar to when a grandmother complaining backache every now n then recipient will told her the same solution or remedy everytime. Know what I mean?

Anyway, back to it.. Yup, he sounded concerned n told me many times today tat i must remember to visit the gynae on the appt date. Now, seeing gynae before pregnancy has become a norm to me.. Arggg..

Silky Cat,

If you married him, you should feel easy around him... that's probably why wife tends to quarrel with husband more than when she's gf. LOL~

Quarreling doesn't mean love is faded, but being too diplomatic or being too careful usually sounds the siren, though a deaf one.

All the best. Usually, it's an allegic reaction. It's the immune response overworked with foreign particles... in this case, it's the serum from your man. Hmmm...

Yeah, it's very weird to answer stuffs only Gynaes should. LOL~

All the best.

Scope guy

Usually its okay for us.. But I m not very good at words, I tend to be more careful when issues r more sensitive. I will usually just 'blarrr' out without think much.. Then hubby catch no balls.. Then I gotta explain in pieces which sometimes they r everywhere. Our brains works differently.. I m more insane as from the artistic/creative side.. Whereas he is from the systematic management. So my theory n logic usually dun work for him. Haha

Btw hor, I will avoid any argument ahead. My friends all say I m too nice.. But actually not. Coz as I m not good in words logically, I tend to loss out in the debates therefore normally I will shutup n fight with my black face. How I wish I am more verbal.

Silk Cat,

Woman of sentiment... Me too, I am a man of sentiment too, and have an interest in certain arts. The only issue with communication is I am 'cursed' with an abnormally high IQ, hence I am kind of impatient of nosense, and I hate to repeat.

I come here merely for entertainment, as with most online sources I indulge in.

I kind of 'feel' that you guys ain't meant for each other... Though this sort of issue won't surface usually till later in life. It's goodwill.

For my case, I hate to explain, and I'd usually 'let the future explains itself'. Actually, I am very nice as well... LOL~

Shut up is bottling up, if you are meant to be one, issues should be resolved. It's unhealthy to go black face and expect the guy to give in every time. Marriage is a commitment, you can't commit resorting to the voodoo of expecting heaven to take care of every dispute. ^.^

Take care, lass. LOL~

cursed with an abnormally high iq... i hope for your own sanity you didn't write that with a straight face. you can't even string two sentences together to express a coherent thought. haha what a deluded schizo. you've abnormally high iq when compared with gold fish maybe. or table lamps.

You think you the only moron in this forum? LOL~

This forum is... filled by useless morons. That's why I am here. To be entertained.

Hi Silky cat,

it has been a couple of weeks since you last posted. So how's the outcome? Has he finally agreed to go for check up? Getting pregnant with an infection is very dangerous for the baby. I don't want to elaborate it here but you should go and google it.

Perhaps you two can practise some hygiene to minimise your chances of getting an infection? Always bathe before having an intercourse, and urinate before and after intercourse. On your part, drink lots of water, urinate more frequently, and eat more plain yogurt (that has acidophilus 'good live bacteria') that can help treat your yeast infection. He can't take care of you, but you can still take care of yourself.
