Would appreciate if anyone can advice me on any nice accommodation in London. I will be extending my stay from Paris to London on 21st February 2010 but have yet to book my Eurostar & hotel in London. Don't know where to stay too.... Booking Eurostar now is expensive too. Was thinking to book during the week of travel which might be cheaper. Hopefully still available then.

Hope some kind soul could reply to my msg. Tks!

better to book ur eurostar now. it gets more expensive as you book nearer to your date.

i booked manderville hotel for london, can check out their website. it's v near oxford street & bond st tube.

Thanks Superfamous.

I know it gets more expensive as the date draws nearer as I was checking out the prices few weeks back, the prices went up double! However, I try to see the price difference so went in to click this weekend's ticket, it turn out to be a lot cheaper. That makes me wonder if I should book it during the week when I'm about to depart. But of course it's risky as I might not get a ticket. Haiz...but to pay S$300+ just for a one way train ticket, heart pain. =(

OK I will check out this hotel you mention. Thanks for your info!

I stayed at Travelodge Southwark recently. Booked the saver rate at 35 pounds/night. It's within 5 minute's walk to Southwark tube station. You can consider Travelodge chain or ibis (slightly more expensive) as alisonrichard recommended.

want to check out where can you book for airport/hotel/airport transfer for London?

what other transportation can be used?
