Advice needed for wedding inserts...

oh.. what a coincidence then.. anyway, i seen the website... they have cool items and heard that pple are nice too....

Denbel,

West area. There is one at jalan bukit merah JTC building. Block 1003. 3rd floor. Cant remember the unit number and the name of the printer. Will check for you.

Are you providing the artwork or are you depending on the printer to do the artwork? If you are providing artwork.. Dont worry, inserts wont go wrong with most printers. it is normally ONE colour printing on a 80-100gsm single colour paper. Choose "melotex" paper type. looks classy. Most people would use "conquerer" too.

Do make sure when you are providing the artwork, bring the card along to the printer. The inserts have to be slightly smaller than the card ya (dont forget)!

Try this TZP 91124021 Mr Hall Lik.
I had my namecards printed there last month. V.reasonable price. Printing and artwork - good. You may tell the staff there that I recommended you and hopefully you will get a better deal.

hope you have a design of what you are looking at already.. simple is always the best... you can sketch your ideas on paper and decide what u wannna do..

next is to find paper and envelopes.. i always like to recommend 'fancy papers' at north bridge road cos they have alot of papers.. of cos shops like popular will have some too.. u can also recce in bras basah.. art friend at taka has alot of materials that you can get inspiration from

Hi Denbel,

Not sure if you are intersted in getting the insert printed in JB. I printed mine at 400 sheets at only RM120 (SGD $54) at City Square

We went there for shopping and makan as the money saved is enough to cover us for the trip, at same time taking a break.

Hi Goldfish,

I don't have their phone. But there is only 2 shops on the 4th floor. U can compare their prices there. The service is okay. On the spot you just give them your details and they will do a printout for you to check. If its okay, then they will proceed to print and you collect like one week later.

Hi Goldfish,
Yes, I did mine in JB. You can get the template there. They have several for you to choose. Before they sent for printing, they will print a copy for you to check to make sure everything is correct

Hi Wiselygal

I went JB city square for leisure. Did enquire on the pricing. It cost RM 60 for 100 insets (inclusive of the paper and printing). Yours is much cheaper.

Hi Wiselygal and Southaparkgal,

Believed there are a few similar card printing shops in JB shopping malls like the new Jusco mall.

Anyone know of any other printing shops in JB?

hi adeline
there is one at city square, level 4...
i am thinking to get my cards printed there.
where is ur wedding?

Hi Cythnia,
Do you know if they have the template for printing the wedding inserts? Or do we have to provide them the template?

What is the name of the shop in city square? I know there is one at level 2 and one in level 4. Which is the recommended one?

What is the price for printing about 120 inserts?

Hi all,

Anyone know of any printing services that offers reasonable rates for printing inserts? My budget ard $0.30 - $0.70 per inserts.

Please PM me ya. Thanks.

Hi All,

I think there is one at JB which are quite cheap. Its at Jusco, it will be convenience if youare driving over. I was thinking of printing there.

i went to the one at Jusco mall. They have got a wide range of designs.. REALLY nice ones.. the most expensive design is only costing RM 1.80/pcs.. Those normal ones, ard RM 0.90 only..

Pricing wise is definately alot cheaper than SG ones. their inserts wise, 100 pcs, RM60. They have cute pictures to be printed on the inserts at no additional cost. Envelopes FOC and they paste the inserts for us too.

i do not have their numbers as my AD is in Oct'09.. so when the date is nearing then i will visit there..

hmm.. jusco and city sq is abt 20mins drive..

Anyone printed chinese invites before where the brides parents are deceased? Possible to use sis's husband (brother-in-law) as representative to invite the guests?

Thx a lot for advice!

Hi Enlightened, you may want to check with the elders e.g. ur grand parents or uncles and aunties.. i realized some of them may think differently. so good to listen to them..

Hi there, I happened to wander into a shop before reading this thread. I think it might be T and T . Picked up some brochures when I was there. Lots of designs for cards and other things. You can refer to their website www.weddingcard999.com
