Good day all,
I suspect that my wife is seeing someone else which would explain her total change of attitude during this period of divorce. I suspect that the other guy may well have been giving her some advice malignant to me which is why the divorce is not proceeding way we agreed it would.
I have been thinking about investigating the possibility of this.
1. Legally, when is someone allowed to see/ date someone else? Is it sufficient for her to say that after we discussed and knew that divorce was the outcome, she was free to go dating? I'm hoping that since she's done absolutely nothing with getting the divorce going, if she's seeing someone that would be grounds for adultery? In which case I can leverage that out of paying alimony. We don't have much, but we have some joint investments in the States and Australia that I want to keep as they are maturing soon.
2. What can a PI do for me? What sort of proof is required to confirm adultery in the judge's eyes? Is he allowed to plant hidden cams, tap mobile phones, hack into computers etc?
I went to a PI website that said all the above was illegal to do. so what DO they do that would prove anything? If I CAN obtain such 'illegal' proof, would it be admissible in court?
3. I guess the final question has to be, how much are his services going to cost me? My wife makes frequent trips to Australia and the UK, so I probably won't afford tracking there. But here at least I think I can pay something.
Thanks in advance,
