Advice for Engraving on Wedding Bands _+

Hi Girls,

Anyone has any advice on whether what to engrave on ur wedding bands? Examples like " My love will last forever..", " Kindness in giving creates love..", " Our love will never die.."

Feel free to exchange pointers!

??? Those sentences U mentioned are long...

1. Are U sure they can fit into your wedding bands??
2. If the rings can fit, the engraving part will be a headache..
3. U may have to pay $5 and above for per character you engrave. (depend where U purchase... some no charge)
4. Old thinking: Engrave = removing the gold from the ring. U already pay for a full ring, pay more to engrave character. Waste of $$$ right.. this is wat old ppl usually say... hehehe...
5. Tot ppl only engrave names and date on the rings (wife's name on hubby ring) vice versa... At most, ppl engrave I Love.....(name) (Love = Heart Symbol).

I think dates are generally good to include. so then u can remember it better. other than tat, a short message, possibly up to 6 words? I engraved Agape Love which means unconditional love

Iris - In a dilemma on what to choose as thre are simply too many words to choose from. For my engagement ring, mine is not gold and so, i can engrave words on it w/o being afraid of gold being scrap off!

As for the cost of the engraving of the ring, as i made mine at Fairy's Inc, they allow me to engrave up to 40 words for free but gotta top up if i wan chinese wordings!

Have you bought your rings? Dun worry, you are not being naggy at all!!! Kekekeke..

Kylie - Where did u find to engrave word such as "Agape Love"? Hahahahah.. It's so unique!

size and thickness of your band and the font you choose also matters. my hubby's band thicker and bigger so naturally, can engrave more. my band is thinner and smaller so we had to choose a different font, otherwise too squeezy on my band..

I think you might be able to find some of the engraving shops in lucky plaza.

we engraved ephesians 5: 25-28 able to fit it in nicely.. =) though hubby's words are bigger and mine are kinda teeny weeny. =)

there's a good one at cuppage plaza.. level 2 or 3. hard to miss... shop has loads of trophies... said to engrave for tiff n co rings too...
