hmm, u mean ur instructor never tell u what to look out for in the diff routes ah? there are some routes with 'traps' leh... like for the CCK routes, the left lane after one of the traffic lights is strictly for turning left only. if you didn't filter right beforehand then that's it liao. apparently not all testers will be nice and warn you that you need to filter.

I knw of the 'traps'. But my instructor told me NOT to filter unless told to. In the case just follow the direction arrow for that particular lane (turn left).

g gal..my gay gym clsoing for reno end of june..for 2yrs..so i need to find another gym for the time being lor...me looking twds suntec planet cos near my office..the membership exluding gst is pay for one yr get another free..per mth is $108..effectively is $54/mth for 2yrs.n if use my hsbc card can 0% installment up to 24mths....

Ah siao, I also dunno why mine so cheap??! Haha... Maybe cos last time before my Platinum membership, I was on corporate rate, then when it was time for renewal, this GM renewed my membership and said if I get the platinum membership he wld give me 2 yrs free, so effectively 3 yrs lor. K la ah siao, $54/mth is still v affordable mah. Somemore close to your workplace. If your co give u free or subsidised parking u can leave ur car at ur workplace and walk to suntec to save on parking. Weights wise, equipment is quite standard la. I think good thing abt Suntec PF is that it's a lot more spacious than the CF gyms I go to, except for Orchard which I dun go to. Also they have a spa there... PF members got discount for the spa 
hmm.ya considering 54/mth is pretty cheap liao.so i might be considering it seriously..me dun go for classes, so the hard core iron pumping equipment (esp free wt n barbell wt) are v impt for me..

ah siao, where got far.... I used to walk regularly from cityhall mrt to suntec via citylink. If you walk outside, crossing the war monument to marina sq and take the overhead bridge there to suntec, it's quite fast one...maybe 15 to 20min walk depends on ur speed. BTW, I also dun go to classes one since they are usually so crowded (used to go for yoga but stopped nong nong ago liao) so I use the weights and machines too.

ya Planet is at the same tower as Eng Wah cineplex. Ok la if you think it's far and you dun have co parking then drive to suntec lor. Anyway, the parking there is only abt $2 after 6pm if I'm not wrong. At least you're v on abt training... how I wish I can motivate my hb to be the same. Eversince he stopped his PT, he has been slacking
Dun want him to waste his efforts put in the past mths leh... Then now when I ask him to work out, he says I'm naggy..

other than the suntec route you can go via Marina Sq from Citylink then cut through Millenia Walk which will bring you directly to the basement under Carrefour.
Haha I don't know if this route is longer, but I prefer it to walking through Suntec. Less crowded.
