Good afternoon! By the time I logged in here, the morning all gone!! Crazy crazy morning. So much work. Have to stay in for lunch... groan!!
 
Mach, think u can google it or go to the movie webby and look under the section on the making of 300 where they talk abt the training involved. Dun say I din warn u hor... sibeh siong one..

I never believe in avoiding my favourite food. Staying away from fatty food altogether is too extreme for me lah. Balance is needed in diet and also in keeping fit.

I would rather have my nasi lemak & fried chicken then a washboard tummy. :p
 
i used to be able to control my diet....only limit myself to certain type of food. And weekdays meals are the same everyday.....it was boring! but I saw some effects.

Hmm, is it not possible to have a washboard tummy AND your nasi lemaks and fried chickens at the same time? Just wondering.

haha. I think even if he pays lesser tax, the net amount of salary will still exceed his pre-increment net salary...

Talking about Nasi Lemak and chicken wing, I just had that for lunch. I'm developing a tummy....

Anywayz, my mom just called to say my cousin won first prize at lucky draw - from my birthday party! Dun know why birthday gal had no luck. We were given lots of lucky draw coupons to fill in cos we spent quite alot, so I handed them out to my cousins... each person filled in some. This cousin of mine sooo lucky!!!!
 
I dun know... his hp switched off so I can't ask - he's doing NS now.

Apparently he received a phone call 2 weeks ago about collection of prize but he ignored. He was asked to take photograph but he thouight it was a prank.

Then last week, he received same phone call then it "clicked" that he filled up lucky draw coupons 2 months ago... then he went to pick up the prize yesterday and only told his mom this morning. The letter is with him so no one knows what prize it is.. His mom told my mom and asked her what the prize was, cos my parents paid for my birthday party and they were the ones who collected the stack of lucky draw coupons from the staff.. I was the one who distributed all the lucky draw coupons. My birthday party was at Pan Pacific hotel, but I can't get any info about the prize winners from their website. I recall it was something like a tour or something. If so, it's good news for my cousin cos he is ORD-ing in June... and won't be doing anything between June to October, then he'll be going overseas to study for a while in October.. lucky chap!! I should check with the rest of my cousins to see if they also won prizes not.. I know I didn't win. Cos didn't receive phone call or letter.
 
sianz... now I'm thinking if I could have won but didn't receive phone call... cos lately I've received call alert on my hp, missed calls but never bother to call back....

fat hope lah.... I'm still day dreaming. can't be as lucky as my cousin.
 
I rather win shopping vouchers or cash or something like that. no time to go travelling. Cleared 3 weeks of leave in Sept/Oct for my wedding and honeymoon already.... boss will sack me if I dared to take more leave!!

It's hard to share the prize with me lah. I think I'd be very akward travelling alone with him. I think the prize is travel to somewhere for 4 people... just now.. his family will just have 4 people after May cos his sister going overseas to study for a while... if really so, then his family is darn lucky loh.
 
Anyway, my husband sounded a bit disapointed that my cousin won the prize cos my husband's been hoping to go on a trip for a very long time with me.. haha. But practically impossible lah. cos we cleared so many days of annual leave already for the honeymoon.
 
Hmm.. are all of us working around the same area or is it raining across the island?

Anyway, Mach, what's the front page news on The New Paper today?

during ns, both washboard tummy and chicken wings used to both good friends of mine and they coexists without problems. Now, they don't meet anymore. The last time I had a defined tummy was liao 7-8 yrs ago back in uni. I'm glad chicken wing is still around for me. Yum yum. :p

Even when I was running long distance almost everyday, the tummy didn't come back.

Yah... its pouring all over but Singapore weather is never cold. It never even hit anything near 20 degrees. If there is one thing I hate abt sgp, it is its humi & warm weather.

mach, I never had washboard tummy. Maybe because they serve whole fried spring chickens in NS nowadays instead of just a chicken wing. Haha..
 
Rara... ur side the clouds there are moving very slow... my side almost stop liao... Now office still cold... I am using the hand dryer to make myself warm...

lucky draw cannot share lah. When catcus distributed it to her cousins, surely she didn't expect the prize to be shared right? If that happened to me, I would find it so absurd and calculative for a cousin to demand to share my lucky draw prize.

Maybe ask him for a treat if its a big pize loh.

When I distributed the forms to my cousins, I cracked a joke that we had so many forms to fill up, probably the whole extended family can go on a holiday together... haha...

Anyway, it's also good that this cousin of mine won cos he's my parents' godson. Only 9 people filled in the forms. Him, his 2 sisters, 3 other cousins, my best friend, my husband and myself. He got really lucky.
