hey ppl, last call!! anyone interested in beach party at sentosa tomorrow? it is still on. 3 pax already, not from forum la. who else want to go, can join us. let me know.

Ya Latino, it's been raining these few days. Maybe ask your frens to do a rain check tmr. Can still meet up with them for movies at Vivo la ;)

RaRa dun worry lah. Tonight go and stick some chilli and onions in the ground... This method someone told me one... Suppose to keep the rain away. But only works if you're a virgin.. kekeke.

Oh, my side here heavy rain....:P

Actually malacca also affected by the recent flood although it was not as bad as johor. If there is no further rain it should not be that bad.

But beware, heard that croc escaped due to rising water.. it could be anywhere..

ya lor tt's what i remembered hearing leh... that malacca was also flooded but only slightly.

*sings* rain rain go away, come again another day...

melaka not so bad... i went back last saturday... along the way passing JB there is bad...

take N-S expressway... dun speed during 1st 30km, then shuld be ok liao... no guarantees hor..

ggal, i cant go movies with my friends or else i am a BIG LIGHT BULB in a confined area.

yeah, i also worried abt the rain.. :-( nvm la, if rain, i'll just stay home cos i so tired liao. just finished work.

hmmm... melaka is slightly affected by flood... but of cos not as bad as kota tinggi that side... cars can still go...

and hor, its true crocodiles escaped from the farm... my auntie owns a fruit farm at desaru and the about 20 over cros escaped... only caught one... so be careful ya... think should be still in jb la..

powder... my hb side also from melaka.. keke.. but his whole family is singapore citizens la.. just that ancestors and hometown is in malacca (the parents grew up there and came to singapore to work when they were younger). i always stay at kampong side when i go back with his family.. i love the surroundings there... always eat good food and can sleep soundly... look forward to every trip back ..

Hokkaido was as freakingly cold as expected, but beautiful. Very winter sonata-ish. Tokyo's weather was better. Heehee... Now back to reality again. Sob. & I got so much laundry!! Did I wear so many pieces of clothing?? My nick is so appropriate now...

welcome back laundry !!

wow, you know how to speak ja-pa-nese already ... not bad huh...hehehe tell us abt your trip.

you didnt miss much on this thread. kept the best till you return.

ppl, an update on the beach party yesterday. the weather was perfect for the evening except for few mins of drizzle. the setting was just great. there were many hunks and hot babes..that kept my eyes really busy..hahaha

and of course we saw taufik and hady! wow, my heart stopped for a couple of seconds when hady walked passed us. he is really something !! i was hoping to see jonathan leong but he was no where in sight! sigh!

we visited KM8 later but it was really empty cos the crowd was at siloso beach.

of the two, i prefer cafe del mar, maybe cos it is newer.

since we left the place after the last bus departed, we walked all the way out to vivocity. must be more than 3km.

it finally rained after 3.30am.

ggal, now i know what a mojito is...hmm...think it is an acquired taste.

Glad you had fun Latino.. You tried the Mojito? I really miss it since having it in BKK. But must see if the std here is up to mark. Most drinks in SG taste watered down :P

Laundry, welcome back and happy washing!! Haha...

Welcome back laundry, you didn't miss much.

Morning folks!

Before I go on trip, face green green. Come back from trip, within half a day, face green green again. Eheheh... Clearing emails. Anyway, I write trip report later!

Btw, wat donuts? I also like donuts leh. Ah siao, go Q leh...

me too like donuts,
but the queue is really too long...the taka one.. 45mins leh..my God

doukin dounts is good enough..hehe

Cynthia, the donuts from donut factory are supposed to be lighter and fluffier than the usual ones. Not as oily as dunkin donuts. I see if I can get them today after work... means tomorrow must work doubly hard at the gym! :P

Eheheh... Think my colleagues buay tahan me. They were asking wat the most exotic food I tried in Japan was. I told them Japanese men.

K, field report. Not interested oso muz read. Dun care. Find Japanese culture very interesting. People always say the Japanese culture inculcates humility & politeness. It's true lor. But it seems more predominant in the service line. Not very obvious in the average Japanese. They are such an organised nation. I mean, they queue while waiting for the trains! & they recycle everything! I never spent so much time trying to throw rubbish before. Everytime I need to throw rubbish, I find 5 rubbish bins staring back at me. Need to segregate the paper from the plastic from the PET bottles from the cans from the I dunno wat. Their service is impeccable too. Even simple purchases, they actually tell u how much the purchase is, how much we pay them & our change amount. I usually reward them with my perfected art of blank looks. Use it a lot last week whenever someone rattles to me in Japanese. The other thing I learnt there was bowing. I was speechless when the ground staff even bowed at the plane as our flight rolled towards the arrival gate. Before I knew it, I was bowing in return by the end of the trip. Heheh. Quite an experience.

Hokkaido - Stayed at the ski village so it was snow, snow & more snow. Luckily I managed to get my hiking boots b4 departure. Else will fall to my death there. Foot-high snow plus ice & slush is not a good combination. But good powder for skiing.

Tokyo - Err... lots of neon lights. Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku started looking the same to me after some time. Mebbe coz I'm not the shopping type. The fish market was exciting though. Never saw fish as big as myself. Straight from the dirty market floor to the meal table. Heheh. Eat sashimi until very shiok.

10 floor... aiyo its not the walking down... its the waiting at the open space with the 11 o'clock sun! now got headache liao... when someone asked how not feeling well most of the ppl raised their hands... stupid question to ask haha!

wah kao, u all so weak one meh??..my ex office i walked down from 26 flr n me fire warden somemmore..also wait at open space under the mid afternoon sun..lagi worst..

Ceci, I oso think u will like it there leh. Ginza is Coach boutique followed by Fendi followed by Prada followed by LV followed by Ferragamo followed by Chanel etc., etc. Think u find hotel there can liao. No need to go other places.
