hehe altho ours is a lao pok chia, we don't dare to drive up cos first timer and with the recent bad weather, better to just enjoy being chauffeured and sleep thru the ride.

salsa, next fri i got driving lesson at the far far end leh... might be able to go lah but will be super late.

ceci....driving to melacca shld be more than 2hrs leh.....unless you go "zoom zoom zoom" on the road lah...

malacca is about 200+ km from SG so you can get it there in 2hrs provided your ave speed is 120km/hr which is the norm on NS highway.
 
can... i tried 1.5 hrs before.. but of cos not my car.. if i can reach KL in 3 hours.... 2 hours sure can reach malacca... just drive at 160km/h.. haha!! ah siao.. jio ppl la.. i dun mind joining for melaka trip haha!

Ong Kim Wee Rd (at night) - satay luk luk
jonker walk - chendol, oyster mee sua, chicken rice balls and dim sum (only open till 11am, a shop call rong mao)
melaka raya - amigo (western food) open till past midnight. Peranakan place (for nonya food)
 
cecilia, u siao ah, drive so fast...car can easily lose control one leh...i think ard 120km/hr fast enuff liao..better to be safe..

no many pple here got car leh....how to jio go?..haha

cecilia, thanx! must take down the road names. isn't jonker walk a night market? or is the 11am only referring to the dim sum? hmm then think i won't get to try it liao... cos reaching around noon and won't venture to jonker walk on Sunday since we're going to the night market on sat night.

wah suddenly i feel like taking the coach is wasting a lot of precious time!! never mind will try to drive up next time...
 
ah siao... thats the only time you can test the speed and performance when driving at high speed.. i dun drive la... i only drive for short distance and my max is 140km/h. my friends they can drive average 160km/h. have tried to use an audi to hit 190km/h for a few secs
 
you dunno the way just ask ppl... they are very friendly. just dun carry to much cash with you.. (put in diff places like pockets, inside handbags compartments.. in case got snatch theft)
 
cecilia, yeah i also drive very fast one.. ave 140-150km/hr and hardly below 120km/hr.

But it is good to drive higher capacity and heavier car at high speed - much more stable.

ah siao,

Aiyo normal car can drive 120 to 140 km/hr without any problem lah.
 
ya simpleman.. that car is very stable... i love sitting in it when driving so fast... comfy

ya my lousy vios can do 130 - 140 km/h also.. but can feel it is not as stable...
 
But nowadays i am becoming paranoid about driving my car to Malaysia. My friend was recently tailed on the highway by some robbers.
 
ya i replied.. haha,,, she email me direct, think we corresponded some time ago but i forgot who she is...

simpleman, who he know its robbers?
 
ah siao, 2 years ok lah. not so new.

How ke know cos the car was tailing him closely(for a while) then tried to overtake and signal him to stop.. Luckily he not stupid.. dun care and just speed on. After a while they gave up.

JB very scary...superly unsafe

My fren's fren...together with 3 other frens got robbed in JB just 3 days ago....the robbers put the knife at his neck..
Best thing is....they got robbed in front of the police stn!
