Ceci, I like coffee that's not too sweet but not too thick also... forget about Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Spinelli or Gloria Jean. I like a skinny cafe latte, but my true love is a kopi xiu dai brewed by a Hainanese!

Actually I prefer food to beach thingy because the hot babes there won't be looking my way. However, if you people still want to go for the beach party, I am ok as well.

hmm what so great about coach bag huh? This is american brand right? How does it compare with the European brand like LV and such.

simpleman... i dunno but i like coach when it just entered singapore market about 6 or 7 years back.. dun think much pple knew abt that brand so its not so common and the designs are unique... only one small corner in taka selling coach products.. now there are coach boutiques everywhere... getting common...

Juz managed to get my Coach bag....but the model that my sis wanted all out of stocks.

She will be disappointed man!
 
Simpleman, Coach leather is really good. I dunno about LV la... I think it's ridiculously overpriced liao.. somemore it's actually canvas with leather trim too. Coach designs are also more contemporary and suitable for our age la... LV..maybe I'll appreciate when I'm 40... hehee...
 
cecilia, aiyo.. thought you are bag expert can teach me a thing or two.. So I guess it is not so common here that is why better cos not everyone carrying it right?
 
yea ggal.. coach quality doesn't lose to those big time fav and names... and more design... LV very limited and overpriced.. now i already feel that coach price also too high liao
 
simpleman, not really that way.. mainly the designs more suitable and there are always new designs every now and then... not so boring .. the quality also good...

Well... I think if I wanna buy a bag at LV price bracket, I'll go for Hermes instead. More understated and classic...LV is so common and commonly pirated too. But I confess I used to like their Epi and Vernis series.
 
ggal.. i only like damier series of LV.. have a sling pouch.. only thing i own from LV... and i didn't buy it.. haha!

simpleman.. can say that.. i try to buy one item per range.. but not all range i like la... only buy from the range i like.. every 2-3 months got one new range..
 
So when are you going to Paris again?? Can tumpang? Haha... well I still think it's crazy to spend over $500 for a bag, nevermind the astronomical prices LV charges.. As for Coach, it's still reasonable la, esp with the low USD exchange rate now.

Hi Simpleman, i hv been to Paris...the px difference for LV not tat much...just a couple of hundreds, at least for the bags i hv seen. LV is evergreen, will nvr be out of fashion and the price will keep appreciating. audrey hepburn carried it. nicole kidman carries it.

no offence but dun really like coach and gucci bags :p esp gucci, the prints look quite cheapo for the px u are paying...as for coach, because it's lower priced (abt 1/3 of LV) so cant expect much fr the material.
 
estrellalq, I am not expert LV but there is this particular bag I was told to buy. SG 1800+ but in Paris is 500+ euroes which is about 1200. So there is savings of 600. And also remember to claim the sales tax at the airport.
 
ggal, errrmm LV and Hermes are not in the same px bracket...Hermes can easily hit 10K....for some of their limited ed, even celebrities have to wait a couple of yrs in order to get the bag...px tag? easily $20-30K.
 
Actually you gals are funny..

For coach when you like it you will say that it has a lot of new design....

Now for LV, maybe not that many designs.. cos it is evergreen and timeless.. (no need to change design)..

I guess different bags will cater to different taste and character.. just like car.

Some like beng car (like ah siao)

Some like functional japanese car..

Some like the can move from a to b type of car

Some like their car to have prestige....
 
seriously, i dunno y those bags can be tat expensive!!!.ya, the quality is there, but we're paying sky high $$ just for the brand..not worth the $$
 
ah siao, aiyo it is the same for cars.. why you wanna pay so much more for a EVO when a lancer can do the same job of moving you front point A to B.

It is the shiokness right? This one you cannot put a price to it. Whether it is worth it or not it is up to the buyer and not uninterested parties.
 


keke..i know u will say tat..but its still bit different..cos the reason y u pay so much for the Evo is cos of the engine compartment...if u can have those kinda tech in a normal car, i will settle for the normal car...

like wise, if can find a LV quality n style of bag but under AH SIAO brand, dun think will be tat ex...LOL
