58+ Tables Wedding Banquet

My AD is 4th Nov(sun). Now desperately sourcing for place that can cater ard 58 tables for my wedding dinner. Price range hopefully to be <$800. Please help.

Hi Charlene,

If you want so many tables, maybe you can try Hilltop Garden at Bukit Batok Civil Service Club? Their crystal ballroom have maximum 62 tables.
But you must check if the date of your AD is available.

This is not a hotel. But the ballroom looked as good as one.

hilltop is very nice. is it because of the location? why not you bring them to view the ballroom, maybe they will agree to it?

The location is the first thing. Next is the parking lots. I was told that there are a total of 186 parking lots. And if that night there is another function holding on the 2nd floor, many of my guests will have to zoom ard to look for other parking places

you are right. there is a car park opposite. therefor guest whom came late might be effected. if u like the venue, it would not be a problem. this is a once enough a live time issue. cheers. why not try OCC? but it will not look nice for 50-60 tables. it will be too spacious. initially i want to choose there. but the dates are taken.

How about Dragon gate @ harbourfront.. It can hold up to 62 tables.

Jade Room Restaurant at Hotel Royal can take up to 60+ tables.

Suntec Convention centre can take a huge capacity too.

Hi, i've been to jade room for my company D&amp;D recently &amp; i wont recommend it to anyone for wedding... the waitress r not trained @ all they cant even pour the red wine properly keep spilling onto the table cloth.... &amp; keep rushing to serve the food when we haven finish the previous dish... Another thing is there's a starlight ktv jus opp the restaurant &amp; its a ktv with girls de... The ladies washroom is jus beside tat ktv so imagine ur female guest has to walk past tat ktv to get to the washroom...

As for Suntec convention centre, heard some good comments from frens of tat place but never attend any dinner there....

Hi gals, thanks for the help. In the end I signed up with Meritus Mandarin. The price is around $935 after all the +++. We got the price before the increment so it was kinda of lucky. The co-ordinator is partial friendly. She sounded very enthusiastic in email and she did throw me some freebie but during the meet up to sign, she is less friendly. Perhaps she is unable to speak chinese well.

Off topic a bit.... i myself had booked 45 tables for my AD. But i'm a bit worried abt the organising part. Seems very hard to coordinate with so many guests.... Anyone can share experiences?

located at above a multi-stories carpark, so no worries of your guests for car park lot.

What don't you try Pioneer Spring Restaurant @SAFRA Mount Faber Club.
It is beautiful! Capacity about 80 tables.

I have placed a $2k deposit with Qian Xi Restaurant (Hilltop) for 35 tables at Crystal Ballroom. Pillarless and high ceiling. Very good PERKS. I have to postpone my wedding and I'm willing to let go at a discounted price.


I have fixed it at 7 dec 08. As I've placed the deposit early, I'm able to get a better price @ $568 per table.
