Are you taking photos overseas? My htb was quite efficient this week and kinda got a soft booking for a JoP already haha. Just need to confirm again in Aug coz now still early. So that's another thing settled woohoo!

We had no idea too, but my htb's aunt mentioned knowing someone in her rc who is a JP so she helped us ask. I think you can get a list off rom's website for the JPs in your grc then look for reviews from there and decide?
mine is Jan 11just received a call this noon from bridal to select gown.

Hi rustie. Mine only pre wedding photo shoot settle. Banquet still doing research. Nt yet settle. Most properly is chinese restaurant. Budget abt 500-600 per table.

Gonna diy invites, angbao box and 2 boards, 1 for programme and 1 for guest attendance. Candy bar is the in thing now right? Or you're doing it coz there will be lots of kids at your wedding? if you're doing dinner banquet can have cupcakes too so people who are early won't get too hungry while they wait.

Haha I'm guessing candy bar looks pretty with the candy colors but Mine is more like a dessert table. Have searched for quotations on cupcakes and also eclairs and such too. Thinking to DIY some chocolates with own wrappers and popcorn boxes too.

I think you can look for people who can do your chocolates and popcorn boxes just to compare prices. The diff might not be too large, and diy might be cheaper but when the time and stress sets in it might be worth spending a little bit more to take the load off your hands.
Mine at movenpick sentosa.. they do not want any food contamination issue arise..

So far I have booked my church venue, dinner banquet, and taken pre-wedding photos. We're both working in Melbourne so heading back in July for 2 weeks and hoping to settle PG/VG/MUA/florist then. Hopefully the ones I've shortlisted are still available.
Have you all bought your wedding bands? Any place in SG to recommend for customisation? My engagement ring is from Tiff & Co and we thought of getting our bands there to match it, but the last we checked we were quoted AUD$5700 for the pair (both platinum, and with half ring channel set diamonds for hers). Hoping to find something cheaper yet from what I can gather platinum is double the price of white gold. However, I was advised by some jeweller that if I get a white gold band and wear both rings together, due to the difference in material they will both rub against each other and wear off unevenly.

I dun ve VG just PG too on actual day, dun intend to do montage even haha.. probably u can do a cartoon love story?? that's my original thoughts but price quite stiff

Hey j.koh, we were thinking of platinum at first because we thought it takes less effort to maintain, but we were advised at love n co. that it's just a different method of maintenance. and white gold is easier to maintain even though it needs more frequent polishing. We haven't started ring shopping yet but I've got a list from lurking around other forums, can go take a look:

Peony jade else dn think so. Out of my budget. Max is $650 nett per table.
So gotta do more research and hv a few short listed in mind. Jus in case the restaurant is not available on the date.
Same here.. my actual day I wont have any gate crashing too. Will hv a sis to help me on my gowns. Have a 2 or 3 sis help on my reception part.
I still wonder should I get a VG. Although did not have gate crashing but still wanna capture the moment n process.
What u gals think? Will it b boring (like no fun) when it play on the montage part? Guess it will b less than 2-3mins.

Initally I wanted Crowne plaza lunch banquet was we delayed to 2016 instead. do share your review here after your Ad okay. Which BS did you sign up with?

I went to pop by Crowne plaza a couple of months ago since I was alr at the airport.. I simply love the bridal suite that the Catering Mgr showed me..
It was big, n it hv a partition that when close it separate out the bed n guest sitting area... Giving the guest a setting to be able to chit chat comfortably n giving the bride space n privacy to change.. And it is one of hotel that hv a spacious bridal suite..
