I'm 12th July bride. Settle banquet, bridal shop and photography waiting to sign contract. Duties assigned to frens and cousins.... The rest will be small small thingy...
 
Probably im 12Th july bride too... Im still looking for banquet following by bridal package... How much did u all spend so far??
 
Wow.. To me quite a lot... Bridal shop $3k plus, already deposit 1k. Banquet deposit 6k. Pg and ad confirm will be $688. Then still need to spend on GUo da li stuff next year. All the ang bao, calculated will be ard $10k cash.

Hi, I'm also a 12th July BTB! :)

Recently got my dinner package at MBS! ^.^!

I got my bridal package from beautiful love. Any reviews on it??? I found them at the butterflies and cakes wedding show at suntec city. In fact, they were the second studio I chanced upon and I signed with them on the spot. And that was only a week after my bf proposed. I kind of regret not looking around more :(. So any reviews on them will be good... thanks!!!
 
I'm not sure if they are good. I sign with MBR as my fren use them in her wedding few years back.
Not many July bride here too...
 
Ya...so EK27, when are u taking ur pre wedding photos??

My bridal studio only give me 2 white gown (1 must be actual day gown) and 1 evening gown 1 kua for indoor shoot.

For outdoor I can take one white gown and e evening gown.

Is that normal?

I'm gonna take photos next Jan but im afraid it's gonna be rainy season!
 
Hmm... Actually I still duno yet abt the photoshoot. I know I can choose 3 gown for the shot. Not sure how many for indoor n outdoor. Haha...

I think I'm choosing only in jan. for photoshoot, shld be feb or march.
 
My package is $3888....is it considered ex???

I don't wanna top up. I saw some online stores can do MTM for $500...if I really want I could buy MTM dress bah... but then after my wedding, I wouldn't know what to do with the dress. hahaa
My fiance also reluctant to waste money to buy a dress...
 
Hmm.... I think price abt there. Mine is $3688 if I need MTM will be additional $300 more. They waive off outdoor transport cost for me, throw in one short gown, 2 fathers jacket and 1 more free table top photo for me. I got free additional photos too... Dun ask me how many. I cannot remember. Haha.
 
Is it too early to start asking my bridesmaids to help me plan programme? I scared they say I too kan chiong. Haha.

I haven't found a worship leader for the church singing in the morning. Wondering if I can do away with it. Just have everyone sing....

Also I only have one emcee for my dinner. Need to find another one.
 
So good, for free... But is ok for me cos my studio alot of gown to choose. Haha...

Fren intro n they remember my fren so I rather go to studio who my fren try before.
 
I already allocate job to my sis, especially on the songs for march in n montage. Then my cousin maybe doing Ang bao box for me. U can start to plan n allocate Job if not last min, maybe not many people can help.

For emcee, I may get my cousin n cousin in law to do it cos husband n wife, will have the 'mo qi'

For my church wedding I'm having purple as the theme....

For dinner...haven't met with the florist to discuss anything.

Still have many things to do too!!!!!
- Conceptualise pre-wedding photo shoot, props, etc
- meet up with actual day photog... I engaged him without really talking to him as I got him for a below $500 rate at the wedding fair but i'm really unsure if should go with him
- decide if want pre-wedding video and conceptualise it if want
- gather photos for pre-wedding slides/video
- decide if want MTM gown and finalise design I want by next month
- bring my church decor coordinator to the church to view auditorium
- search for caterers

Should I get my bridesmaids to all meet up together?? Not all of them know each other :confused::mad::confused:

Hi,

I think it is a great idea to get your bridesmaid to meetup over a simple dinner. Introduce them to one another, they will work better that way.

Helllooooo everyone! I'm new to Singapore Brides. :) I'm also a Jul '14 BTB.
