Going to source for bridal boutiques next. How about you ladies?
 
i'm a May 2014 BTB as well. Looking for cheap VG (because i don't find it worthwhile spending thousands for a less than 10mins playback during banquet) and AD packages. any recommendation? :) enjoy preparing..
 
hi ladies, I'm working in the wedding industry so I hope you don't mind me sharing some of my opinions! :)

I read up a lot about weddings (it's part of my job), and one thing a lot of brides regret is not spending on a good photographer and/or videographer. after all, once the food is eaten, once the flowers have withered, once the music stops, all you have left of your wedding day are the memories captured by your photographer and videographer :)

hope all of you can find a suitable photographer and videographer to capture those memories! :)
 
Thats nice. I am having a small scale one so its at Ramada.
Saw many but they are kinda exp.... you may try Wlliam Goh, but he specialized in indian wedding but he won many awards. I haven got any VG. still looking.

no la. i think mostly their prices are some kind of fix already. for me all VG are ex. hahas. but its really worth it after u view their finish work and whenever i see their finish work, i have tears in my eyes. so u are looking for videographers ? is it for actual day or pre-wedding? and VG budget ? maybe u can give me ur contact number then i just whatsapp u their contacts. =)

I fully agree! but both are important. it's like wedding dinner and wedding cake. both serve the same purpose (to fill your tummy) but you can't have one without the other. similarly, photography and videography capture the memories but you can't have one without the other ;)

Got my bridesmaid dresses as well...

that's fast! who are your vendors? mine is most likely july (no thread for us yet), but I haven't even confirmed the date let alone start planning anything..
 
Yup! Faster confirm so that I have more choice. Otherwise limited choice and also exp! Hehe

Go do faster.... Get a date! That's the beginning of everything!
 
I forgot what's the name of the store. But it's at ground floor, a couple of lot after Starbucks. They were giving 20% off if you buy 2 pieces and above. Price starting at 19.90. Plenty of choices.

The picture doesn't do any justice to the dress. After washing and drying it will look much better I am sure!

hmm am trying to confirm my wedding dinner venue and secure the church..then prob nxt up is to find a bridal package?
 
wow ok! thanks ichinx and arianna! i have gotten some quotes oso...so hope to confirm soon! any idea where i can make nice and reasonably priced cheongsam (for tea ceremony) etc?

Oh Ramada I was earlier thinking about it but then saw Regent and it was nice so decided to place the deposit and settle it.
Seems we at almost same number of pax...
Are you thinking of having any sweet bars during at the reception ?
 
Yes I do. But I am on budget. Thinking of renting the jars and place some old skool candy inside...
Or I can go buy some sweets from Candilicious too. Haha. The Candy Bar that Regent offers is very nice.

Yea Arianna,
Me too was on budget and was thinking to do the same. You know anywhere we can rent the jars ?
Regent does provide very nice sweet indulgence package but it was way too high for just a few mins reception..cost around S$1.2K
And to bring in other vendors and so they may want us to provide them the list of food we bringing in and to sign some indeminity form :p
 
I saw some where here. Gotta find again. 4 jars for 45 bucks. 3 days period. Deposit 200 bucks. Something like that. Hahaha.
But since its not my priority. I didn't bother la.. Date is nearer only panic

LOL me too did saw something here but nv bother also now have to prioritise as that is nice to have but not necessary :D
