Hello all! Was looking for the thread for May 2013 brides and couldn't find it so thought of starting this... Anyone else here getting married in May 2013?
 


Hi sillyting! Ya, its awfully early, hahaha.. But I guess more time is better than less... Have started just looking out for venues, settling church matters and thinking of what we wanna do for the wedding... You?
 
lol.. so far church venue is kinda confirmed for our date.. then the remaining stuff like banquet & BS havent confirmed.. just researching ard. haha..
 
Ya i think it's a lil too early for much, but it's good to just think in general how u want things to be... Actually, we are looking at a couple of dates now and may even shift the dates around! hahaha.... He just proposed 2 weeks ago, so i guess we are still in the proposal aftermath mode...
 
I am also planning for this month, but It appears that the parents want to wait for the "thong su" for snake year. By then I would be able to confirm.. Hopefully May is a good month :D

Dont you guys need to see thong su also?
 
Shirley Ng: snake year tong shu will be out around July/ Aug'12 if im not wrong...by that time most of the venue would be taken up oredi..

if you wan to get auspicious date now, cna consult master to calculate base on you+htb bazi
 
Sorry, but what is a tong shu?

We don't have to consult for dates, so we decided on a date and are now looking to prepare for it...
 
Tong shu is a directory to check if the date is auspicious/inauspicious for carrying out certain activities....the concept is about generally auspicious/inauspicious..

The elder like to refer to tong shu to check if certain date is good for wedding/moving to new house &etc.
 
@Celine: I will be holding my wedding overseas anyway, only ROM will be in Singapore.
I actually suggested that to both of our parents to you our bazi, but they insisted to wait for the tong su

Hopefully they are still available by then.

One more thing.. It is weird to have only 1 maid of honour and 1 bridesmaid? Because people will not be able to tell which one is which.. what do you guys think?

I have a MY DREAM WEDDING package to let go. It's local package but can convert to HK or retain as local. I have paid the deposit. Due to personal reason, no point Holding on to the package.

Willing to absorb $(NEGOTIABLE) long as I can release the contract.

My package in contract consist of 32 poses w all the standard stuff at 3000++.. PS and AD gowns, car deco, thank u cards, fathers jacket.. Etc. A 7 seater vehicle along w 1 PG and assistant and a MUA out for photoshoot... (after much bargaining..,)
Quite good deal cos spent much effort to bargain more perks
