I will also get married in April. I am now busy in purchasing my discount designer wedding dresses under 200 and plus size mother of the bride dressesbecause the budget is not so adequate. Hope the long journey of hunting the dress will come to an end soon.

Hey missies I have tried to find a little section for those of us who are getting married April next year.

I'd love to hear how other April brides have been getting on with their planning, what they have left to do, colour schemes, flowers etc

Here is what I have booked/sorted so far:
*Church
*My dress
*Hotel
*Photographer & Videographer
*Suits
*BM dresses (almost sorted, waiting to get them in)
*Band & DJ
*Invitations (just to add final touches)
*My jewelery, headpiece & veil
*Wedding candles
*Pre-marriage course booked
*Ceremony music
*Cake (we are making our own choc biscuit. Practiced loads it's so yummy and I surprised myself with the icing)

Left to sort:
*Confirm which priest is marrying us
*Apply for intent to marry
*Flower girls & Page boy outfits
*BMs shoes and jewelery
*The lads shirts and ties (we bought suits, got a fab deal)
*Mass booklets
*Flowers
*Wedding car (Really liking the idea of going as a family. Spend my last few mins before I marry just the 4of us. Thinking my brother drive, my Mom in the front and me and Dad in the back. Just need a nice car )

I'm also getting married in church but still hv quite a bit to do I guess. Using your list:

Yeah, chenjuan you are very fast. Your DIY cake sounds interesting. Sounds more like biscuit.

So far i've only settled on:
- Hotel
- PG & VG
- Flower Girl & Page boy
- WG & EG (to be chosen at bridal shop nearer to date)
- Cheong Sum (for tea ceremony)
- Guest List (more or less done up)

In progress:
- Music for march-in
- Pre-marriage course
- sister's dresses
- Band & cake ( to see budget)

Chenjuan, can share where/which pre-marriage course you have booked?
